Our latest quarter of school ended last Friday giving way to a three-week break from classes. For me, this meant that it was time to hit the road. It has been a couple of years since the last time I was in Oklahoma City to visit with family and some friends I had grown up with.
Hitting the road, I first stopped off in Memphis TN, staying at the Peabody a couple blocks from Beale St.
The next day I made my trek to Oklahoma City for a few days.
Currently I am in Nashville TN, on my way back Tomorrow morning. I am staying at the Cascades at Gaylord Opryland. This place is an amazing hotel—just take a look in the lobby.
Taking some time to read for leisure, something I haven’t had time to do with in a while, I am a little over halfway through Jack Kerouac’s book On the Road: The Original Scroll, and thoroughly enjoying it.
